A Story: The Generous Founder

Two years ago, Kylie started a skincare business in Newcastle, NSW.

The products at Savant are hand made (by her), high end, plant based and and all natural.

Recently, the team overhauled the website for the business, which also has two store locations.

A woman from Adelaide made a purchase online – not a particularly big one, maybe ~$200-$300 all up.

Grateful for the order, Kylie decided she wanted to hand deliver it to her… So, she gets some extra staff in the store, grabs the kids, hops in the Toyota, and drives for a few days from Newcastle, to Adelaide.

When she arrives, she knocks on the door, and effectively says:

“Hi, My name is Kylie, I’m from Savant… Here is your package.”

Then, she hops in the car, and spends a couple of days doing the drive back up to Newcastle.

So the question is, was it worth it?

And more importantly, if you own a small business or are part of a team, would you do it?
