The Problem With Writing

Is rooted in perception.

When you write, speak, or share your ideas or assertions, you’re sticking your neck out.

When we voice something, we’re by definition exposing ourselves to something else – to the opposite, to a contrast, and even to disagreement.

Talk about tension.

That’s one way of perceiving the situation.

Another way to frame it, is that you’ve committed a generative act. You’ve gone within, found something, and decided to share it.

Through sharing your idea, you generated more thought within others.

Yep, the reaction could be “for,” and often, it’ll be “against,”

With this way of looking at it though, the nature of the reaction isn’t the important part.

The important part is that when you share, you generate thought – and this is the first step in creating change.

When we shift the way we perceive the entire thing, the original problem we started with becomes an asset.
