The Part vs. The Whole

“The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.”

And sometimes, the parts are whole within themselves, and are where huge opportunity lies.

When elements converge, we get a bigger, more complex ecosystems.

When we focus on singular elements, we get to understand their nuance, improve our rate of learning, and go “deep,” rather than wide.

It seems like both arguments might hold true. But if things are overwhelming, not moving forward, or feel just too complicated, it might be time to find a smaller segment or niche and simply drill deeper, on less material.
