The Chicken Before the Egg

We get “good” at the skill through being terrible at it.

To only “begin” once we feel we are proficient, is really a form of resistance – it is really to never begin.

This trap doesn’t just catch us in the physical realm (“I can’t do mobility work because I’m too tight…” “I don’t do any treks because I’m not fit enough…”).

Awareness of the trap then means the first and most important step is to decide what quality, skill or contribution we want to manifest, or create.

From there, we can almost turn a blind eye to our initial “terrible-ness” as we set off down the road and show up day, after day, after day.
