Creating the Environment

Breathing practices, morning routines, certain foods – tools to consciously increase vitality or our awareness. I call these our allies (or tools)

What and who we surround ourselves with consciously or more often, subconsciously, during the day (and night!) is our environment. 

Sometimes you’re in the shower and notice a song in your head – where did it come from? Somewhere along the line your environment included the song and it got picked up by your subconscious mind.

Cool huh?

This happens for everything! Our subconscious mind is constantly picking up information and storing it. It is literally becoming a part of “us”  (that collection of memories and experiences).

What’s the take home?

If you are going to have the TV playing, the radio on, cruise Facebook for hours, hang out with certain people or work in a certain type of office, it pays to make sure that this environment is aligned with how you want to feel!

If it’s not?

We change it! Seeing if it is aligned is the first step.
