There are at least 25 known cognitive biases.
These are common “gaps” or “holes” in our mental thought processes that influence our decisions and behaviours.
So, it makes sense that we try to navigate some of these.
It makes sense that we try to stay aware. To see things as they are.
But, when the mind is in action, reasoning, looking for answers we are undoubtably falling victim to a few of these biases each time. This is the nature of conditioning.
So, we reach a cross roads.
A point where we can’t reason any further, we can only do*.
We can only pause for a moment, then move forward from the centre.
Sometimes even against logic and only from our intuition.
*Personally I find this is a lot earlier than I would expect.
