“Can I keep Going?”

Many times we feel we need to get “better” at a movement, or “stronger” or more “flexible.”

Often we see a sense of urgency even.

People are usually proud at how quickly they can get results.

Yes, sometimes this is a good thing.

But often, a more important question is “can I keep going?”

In 5, 10, 15 years, can I keep going with my current practice?

Fit in a marathon this year versus developing a quality running pattern, a half marathon next year and years of running after that.

The examples are many, but a slightly slower, more methodical process that may deliver a slightly lower short term result, but a process that can be carried on with consistency for the long game will win out every time.
