How it Starts is How it Ends

Sometimes.

In exercise, it’s “always train on a Monday.”

This is a common motivational saying that helps us get cracking early.

However, many journeys, stories, films or adventures follow a 5, 7 or 12 stage passage.

Occasionally how it “starts” is nothing like how it ends.

Through being open to feedback, we can scale up or back off our efforts.

We can change direction, we can lean in, or occasionally, we can walk away.

It’s often a helpful saying, but simply “starting,” then staying alert, open to feedback and remaining consistent yet flexible can also be very helpful.
