To push the concept, idea, job or exercise onto someone else, or to wait for it to be pushed onto you is one way to walk through the world.
To pull at the concept, the idea, the job or exercise from someone else, or to encourage another person to pull at ideas alongside you from a place of inquiry, is an entirely different way to walk through the world.
The general agreement in the first option is non-action. Wait for instructions or read the handbook.
The general agreement in the second option is action first, to re-write an entirely new handbook.
The gap between them is one of initiative, innovation, empathy, communication and courage. Emotionally (not physically) difficult, but nonetheless a gap worth trying to cross.
