We are used to a 60 minute timeframes.
If it’s a group meeting, the first 20 are typically gone with late arrivals, banter and a general lack of intent.
Even with some level of focus, this is typically long enough to catch up on a few things, but rarely enough for high power, deeper work.
What does it look like if we blow this out?
What is the impact of 90 minutes of highly focused work together?
What change can be made with 2 days of unplugged, focused work as a team done remotely?
Perhaps in exchange, we see where a lot of the sub-60 minute sessions can be cut.
When we focus on impact and creating change rather than the status quo, often a lot of different possibilities open up.
