“Impeccability begins with a single act that has to be deliberate, precise and sustained. If that act is repeated long enough, one acquires a sense of unbending intent, which can be applied to anything else. If that is accomplished the road is clear. One thing will lead to another until the warrior realizes his full potential.” ~ Don Juan, The Fire From Within
It seems that in a sense, impeccability is the correct use of energy, or effort.
The balancing of external pressures and considerations with the internal world, combined with an attention to the purpose of the act at hand.
Of course, it is a life-long pursuit and yet also something that we can practice infinitely.
Interestingly, as opportunity for distraction and even lack of integrity to the task at hand increases, our ability to practice impeccability also goes up as well.
If distraction, avoidance and creation of gaps between what we say and what we do leads to an energetic drain, then it makes sense that the practice of impeccability leads to energy generation.
