Intangibles

How I feel when I visit a certain business isn’t really tangible.

It’s something internal, something soft, something we can’t see.

A lot of times we talk about creating a particular culture, or that we want to feel a certain way in our relationships – we want a specific intangible result.

But to create these intangible shifts, we need to recognise that the inputs required are very much tangible inputs.

A shift in culture or creating a particular energy in our environment requires real work, time, energy and effort. There needs to be a space in the diary to create this.

So when we talk about the type of environment or culture that we want to be creating, are we aware of the tangible work that we need to be doing to get this?

Are we doing the work?

And more importantly, if not, what does it look like to start today?
