If you’re not getting traction in something, there are two places to look.
One is the commitment. Are you showing up to the gym? Are you putting in the work? Are you actually doing the marketing work? Can you show me your sales board?
The other is the skillset.
If the work is being done, what does it look like to actually improve?
When we bring a finer eye to it, what do we see?
How can I actually move better?
Can I execute faster?
How can I communicate more clearly?
The market is always correct, and the results we see in reality are telling the real story – so how can I listen? How can I take responsibility and how can I respond to this?
If I’m not getting the result that I want, I need to ask, how am I playing an active role in this?
[PS – I was just interviewed by my good friends at Fisheye Creative, we dove deep into the importance of expressing yourself authentically and developing soft skills – you can check out the full episode here ]
