Identity Leads Habits

Who do you want to become?

A successful studio owner?

A mother of three?

Someone who is ecologically conscious?

A professional athlete?

A coach or a trainer?

Who we want to become at a deeper level has an incredible impact on the environments we create, who we surround ourselves with and of course our thoughts and emotions.

This desired transformation sets the trend, around which other things align, before action and habit crystallise the change in reality.

Habits are formed via repeating actions and patterns – and this is all built on the underlying identity we are looking to grow into, or the transformation we are looking to create.

So, rather than tack on a “performance” habit you picked up from the internet, a better place to start is what is the bigger transformation I seem to be wanting here?

Who do I want to become? What kind of reality do I want to create?

From here, our environment, actions and habits have a chance of falling into line.
