We often look back in hindsight at a conversation we could have had, a way we could have helped someone, or an initiative we could have taken.
In retrospect, it’s easy to see how we could have moved through a particular moment of tension and acted more generously.
The hard part isn’t knowing what we could have done, or even what to do should that situation arise again,
the hard part is recognising that this situation is here more often than we are even aware, and usually, is right next to us under our nose.
