It’s perfectly normal for the artist to want to create more powerful work.
When we look at our skillsets (particularly those which make up our livelihood), we want to develop them further. We like to go deeper in the area that we already know a lot about.
In other areas, such as in our relationships perhaps, it’s often not a case of our strengths, but rather our blindspots that need attention.
It’s easy to identify with an area that we like to show up powerfully and simply do more.
It’s harder to ask for feedback, find our true weaknesses, understand what it actually holding ourselves and others back, and focus our attention there.
