In 2020, it’s easy to get confused.
So, it’s sometimes helpful to remember that there are a few ways to avoid actually winning a prize.
A couple of them come to mind:
- Being online for more time.
- Thinking more about the project before starting it.
- Stopping as soon as it gets difficult and starting something new.
- Yelling louder.
- Spreading more fear.
- Being plugged into more news sources.
- Needing to be in every (perpetually open) online conversation.
- Doing work you aren’t proud of.
With increasing bandwidths, outlets, experts and reports, there are ample opportunities to run off course.
We can either choose a recurring state of distraction, or we can choose to focus on where we actually want to go.
