It’s tempting to outsource accountability.
To find someone else to “push us back in” to the work we already know we want to do.
And this can be helpful.
But what if we look deeper at the root cause. The work that we do drives change. And change is stressful on the nervous system.
What if we learned to “see” this recoil?
What if we made a practice of “staying in the moment.” What if we slowly trained the nervous system to relax into the work we seek to do?
At the end of the day, accountability buddies and scheduling “tactics” will always play second fiddle to nervous system capacity and ability to breathe into the task at hand.
