Learning is a choice

In our first couple years, a lot of our learning isn’t really a conscious “choice.”

We crash our way through a bunch of lessons and “content” just to make life easier – we need to walk, eat, listen and speak to make our way around.

Later though, we’ve covered the basic stuff, so we get some options.

A whole spectrum of them.

“Learning” itself becomes a choice, that only we can make.

It’s different to “starting.”

It’s different to “enrolling.”

For sure it’s different to “consuming.”

One of the amazing things about being a human, is as long as we’ve got the energetic resources, we’re learning machines.

The only question is whether it’s something we actively want to engage in?
