A frustrating part of the game for the optimist.
It feels like it knocks 10% off your life force bar on the left hand side of the screen.
We’ve got two choices here.
- Believe in the inevitability of “game over.” That we better not try this level again because we obviously can’t make it, and we can’t afford to risk another knock.
- Play the infinite game. Get up. Dust off, go again. What did I learn? Change something. Go again.
Often all it takes is a willingness to see the game differently.
To see new options, and to commit to going again.
Because if we can’t, then it means being an optimist has a really short lifespan.
And we know what life is like hanging around a bunch of pessimists.
