But it didn’t work last time

A frustrating part of the game for the optimist.

It feels like it knocks 10% off your life force bar on the left hand side of the screen.

We’ve got two choices here.

  1. Believe in the inevitability of “game over.” That we better not try this level again because we obviously can’t make it, and we can’t afford to risk another knock.
  2. Play the infinite game. Get up. Dust off, go again. What did I learn? Change something. Go again. 

Often all it takes is a willingness to see the game differently. 

To see new options, and to commit to going again.

Because if we can’t, then it means being an optimist has a really short lifespan.

And we know what life is like hanging around a bunch of pessimists.
