For hours. Holed up in the office yesterday, re-jigging my desk, office setup, lights, wiring etc…
Finally when I crawled out of there, I couldn’t believe how long I’d been going.
Sometimes, time flies.
It’s funny though, I also remember sitting in calculus at school, watching the wall clock tick over from 3:15 to 3:30pm. That 15 minute block always felt like it took a year…
Sometimes, time stands still.
It turns out our in-built perception of time can be pretty awful. We often over or under estimate how long we spend on things.
So maybe we need to ask the question, are we really spending the amount of time and effort on the things that we care about that we think we are?
And how do we know?
