A Stand For Trust.

Every two weeks I buy a 1kg bag of organic coffee beans from the grocer.

But there’s no way for me to actually tell if the beans are covered herbicides, fungicides or chemical fertilisers.

Each year (traditionally), I fly back to New Zealand to visit family.

But there’s no way to tell if the aircraft engineers have checked over that plane recently for crack propagation.

The world we live in relies on trust.

And just because we might lose trust in a particular institutional organisation, or big tech platform, doesn’t make it any different.

A brighter future depends on us trusting each other, and working towards possibility. But for this to work, each of us needs to make a stand. We need to show up in a way that points to this, regardless of what we see others do.

Luckily, this is just a choice we can make.
