Limitless energy

I saw an article the other day talking about all the sources of energy.

Limitless energy I think it was called. Feel unstoppable all day.

There was stuff about food, there was sunlight, breath… And good sleep.

It was as close as you could get to a re-hash of classic holistic health ideas as I’ve seen in a while.

[Of course, still helpful if you applied it all I’m sure.]

But I felt like it was missing something.

I was talking to a friend the other day, who’s pretty dialled into this health stuff. She had been tired, and we were just chatting through some life events she was facing at the moment.

Half an hour later, she said that she felt a lot lighter, and had more energy.

As far as I know, she didn’t eat anything on the call, or change her breathing or sunlight exposure (although you never know). We didn’t do any meditation.

What she did do though, is make some decisions. As she talked, she realised a few things, and decided on what her next step was.

She chose to get clear on what she was going to do, and it freed up both intellectual, and mental emotional bandwidth.

She got back a ton of energy.

Will it last? Who knows.

But practicing decision making goes a long way in creating clarity. And I’d bet money when we’re clear, we have a ton of energy.
