I’ve got a meeting booked tomorrow at the same café.
The same café I go to almost any time I go to a café (pretty rare, but hey, Friday tomorrow – let the hair down right?).
Heck, I’ve probably written about this place 20 times.
Why?
Well, there’s certainty, the ambience, the service, the way they greet… We could go on.
Overall, I guess we could say reputation – I’m sure you’ve got a place like this in your mind?
As a business, they show up to us in a particular way that draws us in.
And to show up in a particular way, they do particular things.
A lot of times we like the idea of having a particular reputation. It can be a helpful asset. But a lot of times we can forget that it takes consistent and persistent actions.
And the generous team who runs this café might not always feel like taking the actions they do as they serve. But they do it anyway.
And that’s why we go back.
