What would be most helpful with the goal I have right now? a) Bring more energy to the project or task b) Create better structure or direction around the project or task While the two support each other, they’re really different. I either need to allocate more of something (time, money, people-power…), or I need...
Sometimes we need “to find:” car keys, a good coffee. But often what we need is “to decide:” a project to start, a particular type of customer to serve, a gym to go to, creativity. “Finding” has a place, but hanging around waiting for clarity or direction to drop from the galaxy is usually just...
If you decide to walk everyday, start a new training program, or write, who’s it all for? If you share your journey, people might follow along, engage with your ideas or celebrate your string of wins. But if nobody sees it, or nobody engages, what then? Is it even worth it? Should we just stop...

I pulled the trigger on a purchase today. Work related – nothing too exciting, but the thing is, I first thought about buying this thing three months ago. A three month decision. In that time, the price didn’t change, my need didn’t go up or down, I just got closer to a self-imposed deadline for...
